SmartForest Stand Visualization

The current version of SmartForest-II, release 1.3, adds the ability to overlay false-colored stand polygons on the terrain to accurately show the extents and visibility of stands seen with realistic terrain and vegetation coverage.

These images show four views of the stand data at each of three time steps to show how changing stand conditions are visualized. In this case stand coloration is by stand age so that the blue, red, white and green are seen to change over time. Yellow signifies native vegetation in gullies and protected areas.
